Wattah Wattah in San Juan

Sorry super late post, been very vusy.



June 24, is the feast of San Juan de Bautista, and as its Patron every year San Juan celebrated this event by its traditional "Basaan" and a concert at the plaza. Of course, with our newly elected Congressman, Hon. JV Ejercito and Mayor Guia Gomez this year' s Basaab is something different compare to the previous.




This year, they have a new program which is a parade from each barangay.This parade shows the replica of St. John.



Everyone, including children enjoyed this event. Their parents even bought them a water gun just for them to enjoy this years basaan.

Manila Beer's free-flowing beer party in Manila

Last June 24, Manila Beer hold a free concert party at the Rajah Soliman Park in celebration of Manila and at the same time launched the come back of Manila Beer. This event features 20 Hottest Band in the country.



Despite the bad weather the crowd was still hyper and cant help partying with the band performing on stage.



The crowd had a lot of fun, drinking while dancing.




Almost 20 bands particpated in this event including Up Dharma Down....


(For those who are familiar with Up Dharma Down, they won the In The Raw Award at the 2005 NU 107 Rock Awards, and as Best New Artist and Best Female Award for vocalist and keyboardist, Armi Millare, at the 2006 NU 107 Rock Awards.)
